Child exploitation (CE), sexual exploitation (CSE), county lines, grooming
  • Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) should ensure that grooming, sexual exploitation and domestic abuse, including coercive and controlling behaviour, should be addressed sensitively and clearly.

  • Pupils should know how sexual consent, sexual exploitation, grooming and coercion can affect current and future relationships.

  • Pupils should be made aware of the relevant legal position on sexual exploitation, violence and exploitation by gangs, extremism/radicalisation and criminal exploitation including 'county lines'.

DRAMA

This programme uses high quality pre-recorded performances with relevant, engaging content to bring the issues to life to introduce or consolidate learning on the issue.

WORKSHOP

The virtual workshops allow us to interact directly with your students via live streaming to explore the issues raised in the drama and where to get support.

LESSON PLANS

Lesson plans and interactive resources to use on a range of PSHE topics to support your curriculum and prepare and follow up the Loudmouth session.

SUPPORT

Updates on PSHE with regular tips, ideas and advice on learning objectives. Loudmouth can also support with staff training and consultancy on PSHE.

CONCEPT
Powerful theatre in education programme on child exploitation.

This programme teaches about a wide range of child exploitation issues including child sexual exploitation, exploitation into crime e.g. county lines and knife crime.

OBJECTIVES
Safe and sensitively run drama and workshop.

The programme uses well researched drama plus discussion workshop to help young people spot the signs of grooming, raise empathy for victims and see the impact of child exploitation. It highlights how perpetrators target young people's vulnerabilities, how victims and perpetrators can be anyone e.g. gender, ethnicity, age and the laws around coercive and controlling behaviour.

Proven increase of young people's confidence and skills on topic of child exploitation.

Evaluation has shown that this programme has increased young people's knowledge of where to go for support and increased their knowledge and ability to spot signs of grooming to safeguard themselves against perpetrators e.g. staying safe online.
