Today, 20/11/18, we were very pleased to have Baroness Newlove, the Victims Commissioner view our CSE awareness programme, Working for Marcus in Telford Park School. We had a full house of Year 9s as well as visitors from Telford & Wrekin Safeguarding Children's Board and Telford & Wrekin Safer Partnership (Kerry Woodhouse) and Telford & Wrekin Council (Paul Watling - cabinet member for children and young people).

We are so grateful to Lyn Stepanian from the local authority, for all the work she puts in year in, year out to gain funding to help support us going into the schools in the area. Thanks to Glynn Edwards, Head of Commissioning for West Mercia PCC and Phil Goodwin, Deputy Head at Telford Park School for arranging the visit.

Baroness Newlove commented after the session "A brilliantly receptive group of Year 9s at Telford Park School watching Loudmouth's production on how quickly online grooming can escalate."

What people say

Take a look at how we’ve helped others

Brilliant acting and interaction with the children. The play itself covered puberty in an open, realistic and humorous way which forms a terrific basis for future discussion with the teacher and each other. So much depends on the enthusiasm of the actors and I feel that we were very lucky to have such a talented pair, not only to perform, but to lead the discussions afterwards. They were able to relate to the children without any embarrassment. SUPERB!!

Governor/Teacher

Compared to other companies we have had covering the same content, the actors were more flexible and accommodating to the children’s individual needs. Through their answers and questions, the children were demonstrating a higher level of understanding, empathy and personal safety.
