Warwickshire Free Resources for Young People Educated at Home

Thank you for your interest in these resources from Loudmouth Education and Training. These resources are designed to be used by parents, guardians or carers living in Warwickshire who educate their child at home.

The resources contain filmed dramas and workshops that cover topics in the Relationships, Sexual Health and Health Education curriculum such as child exploitation and sexual harassment. They are designed to be watched with a parent, guardian or carer in the room to help the learners with any worries or questions and to help if there are safeguarding concerns raised. Both videos are designed to be watched by young people aged 13 upwards. Please complete the evaluation form using the link or QR code onscreen at the end of each video.

The resources are the property of Loudmouth Education and Training and have been made available for those educating at home through subsidy from Warwickshire County Council. The links should not be shared publicly.

Please note that the resources were created as a backup for a tour of live theatre performances in schools and so some elements refer to or are set in school. Funding was found for Loudmouth to adapt the workshop elements for those educated at home.

Access to the video has been paid for by Warwickshire County Council and so the resource is free for anyone who educates their child or a child they look after at home, in Warwickshire. Access will be available until the end of July 2024.

Thanks again for your interest in these resources and we look forward to receiving your evaluation and feedback.

What people say

Take a look at how we’ve helped others

Brilliant acting and interaction with the children. The play itself covered puberty in an open, realistic and humorous way which forms a terrific basis for future discussion with the teacher and each other. So much depends on the enthusiasm of the actors and I feel that we were very lucky to have such a talented pair, not only to perform, but to lead the discussions afterwards. They were able to relate to the children without any embarrassment. SUPERB!!

Governor/Teacher

Compared to other companies we have had covering the same content, the actors were more flexible and accommodating to the children’s individual needs. Through their answers and questions, the children were demonstrating a higher level of understanding, empathy and personal safety.
