Company Coronavirus Update

Loudmouth has been running since 1994. In that time we have got through at least 2 recessions and now, along with the rest of the country, we face an unprecedented challenge to our work in schools.

With all schools closed for the foreseeable future we have had to make the difficult decision to run the company with a skeleton crew (Eleanor, Chris and Louise) until the situation with COVID-19 changes.

We have had to use the government’s furlough scheme to temporarily lay off most of our staff. We are working very hard to ensure the company carries on during and after this crisis to be able to ensure that all our staff continue to be employed when things return to normal.

You can still contact us by the usual channels email louise@loudmouth.co.uk (our quickest method of communication) or call 0121 446 4880. Eleanor and Chris are contactable via their normal email addresses too.

We are working with our current funders and schools that were booked in this academic year to work out what next with their bookings AND we are taking bookings for next academic year.

We will also continue to support schools, teachers and parents with our free resources and lesson plans to support remote teaching so please let us know if there is anything that we can do that will help to keep children and young people healthy, happy and safe during this difficult time.

Looking forward to seeing you in the new academic year!!!

What people say

Take a look at how we’ve helped others

Brilliant acting and interaction with the children. The play itself covered puberty in an open, realistic and humorous way which forms a terrific basis for future discussion with the teacher and each other. So much depends on the enthusiasm of the actors and I feel that we were very lucky to have such a talented pair, not only to perform, but to lead the discussions afterwards. They were able to relate to the children without any embarrassment. SUPERB!!

Governor/Teacher

Compared to other companies we have had covering the same content, the actors were more flexible and accommodating to the children’s individual needs. Through their answers and questions, the children were demonstrating a higher level of understanding, empathy and personal safety.
