Free Resources for Autumn 2024

Here are some completely FREE resources that you can use to help your RHE / RSHE this Autumn.

There is a lot going on this Autumn that you can use as a focus for your RSHE / RHE work. In September, schools will receive new pupil premium payments and there are plenty of international / national days and weeks for your diaries. October 10th is World Mental Health Day and in November 11th - 15th is Anti Bullying Week.

Below, are a series of completely FREE resources that you can use to help your education and awareness around these dates and issues.


MENTAL WELLBEING


Primary

My Happy Diary (Primary)

This pdf lesson plan helps pupils to learn about the 5 Ways to Wellbeing and how they can apply that to their daily approach to feeling healthy, happy and safe. The lesson plan can be downloaded here.

Secondary

Mental Wellbeing Diary (Secondary)

This is the secondary version of the activity above. This pdf lesson plan explores how to build the 5 Ways to Wellbeing into daily activity. The lesson plan can be downloaded here.


BULLYING


Primary

Don’t Be a Bystander This pdf lesson plan explores the concept of bystanders and explores the idea of being a friend instead of a bystander. The activity explores different ways that someone could safely intervene if they saw someone being bullied. You can download the lesson plan here.

Secondary

Bullying Blockbusters

We are celebrating 30 years of Loudmouth and so we are feeling a bit nostalgic. Do you remember Blockbusters?* It was a game show that started in the 1980s, but has been revived a few times since. We have created a PowerPoint homage to Blockbusters that can be used as a game to help secondary students identify different types of bullying. You can download this lesson plan here.
