What is Missing?

The guidance references the revised guidance on Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) however these have yet to be published and the new KCSIE guidance acknowledges that these may not be ready, saying, 'We expect to publish revised guidance on Relationships, Sex, and Health Education this summer. If published, we will signpost to this guidance in September 2025.''

It does continue to highlight the need for opportunities to teach about safeguarding and that schools and colleges need to 'prepare pupils and students for life in modern Britain' and reinforces how preventative education, 'creates a culture of zero tolerance for sexism, misogyny/misandry, homophobia, biphobic and sexual violence/harassment'.
