Invitation to Take Part in SAFER-TECH Research Project

The University of Glasgow is looking for young people aged 16 years or over to be part of a research project around harmful experiences online as part of the SAFER-TECH Research project.

Loudmouth has worked with Dr Juliane Kloess at the University of Glasgow for many years on various research projects and so wanted to make schools and colleges aware of this opportunity,,

Below is an invitation from the SAFER-TECH Research Team.

Dear colleagues,

We are getting in touch from the SAFER-TECH research team at the University of Glasgow. SAFER-TECH is a research project that aims to improve our understanding of the nature and impact of harmful experiences online in order to develop a Survivor-Aligned Framework for Effective Responses to TECHnology-Assisted Child Sexual Abuse.

The resulting framework will translate generated evidence into best-practice recommendations following a coherent and trauma-informed structure for anyone working in law enforcement, social care and health, education, and criminal justice. It will further align with the needs of victim-survivors of different types of child sexual abuse, and ensure that their safety, recovery and voices are placed at the heart of practice.

You can read more about SAFER-TECH on our website: https://www.gla.ac.uk/schools/healthwellbeing/research/mentalhealth/projects/safer-tech/
