Free Resources for June 25

Looking for some free resources around puberty for primary schools? Or maybe STIs for secondary? You're in luck!

SECONDARY

The 26th June is RSE Day.

We have a lesson plan that can be used as part of your sex education to teach about sexually tansmitted infection (STIs). This uses a card game where students match the names of ten different STIs to the defintions, symptoms and treatments.

You can use this as a full lesson to cover the basic knowledge around STIs or as a quick warm up activity for older students as a recap.

PRIMARY

2025 marks the 30th anniversary of one of our most popular theatre in education programmes. My Mate Fancies You, helps schools to teach pupils about growing up. The first version of the programme launced in 1995 and is adapted and updated every year. The programme is a gentle and safe way to cover the emotional and physical changes that take place during puberty and helps children make the most of the move from primary to secondary school. If you would like to use My Mate Fancies You in your puberty education then find out more here.

The free puberty card game, allows pupils to match some key terms related to puberty and body changes with short definitions.
