Online AI generated training can be useful for some training but is it right for more nuanced topics like sexual harassment in the
workplace?
This unique training course builds school and college leaders’ awareness of sexual harassment before developing
their confidence in conducting thorough and fair investigation meetings.
The Worker Protection Act 2023 means businesses now have a duty to prevent sexual harassment including those by 'third parties'.
This brings added risk and opportunities for schools and colleges and a need for managers to handle cases sensitively and fairly.
This 3 hour CPD accredited course provides a memorable and innovative way for managers to keep up to date with the latest
changes to sexual harassment legislation and practice skills such as investigation meetings in a safe space so that they feel confident
to face a live case.
The drama provides a way to lift the issues from a Powerpoint deck and understand the human element of handling sexual harassment cases.
The training creates a safe, non-judgmental space for senior leaders and managers working in education to use the trauma informed
drama to explore workplace culture, inclusivity, and respect.
The trainees interact with the characters and support a manager through
an investigation meeting.
"The thing I value most about the training was the interactive nature, the role playing. I think it was much easier to interact with that rather than doing it from slides on screen and talking. I think the drama and being involved was the best part of it.”
The 3 hour version of the sexual harassment in the workplace training for managers programme is CPD certified.
All participants are eligible for 3 CPD points on completion of this course.
Shorter versions aimed at reaching larger groups of staff can be booked however these are not CPD certified.
We can provide evaluation forms for the training or work with you to use your own forms or assessment.
Participants praise the interaction and safe atmosphere and the engaging use of drama.
"I think it's really important for companies to have this kind of training at the moment, because sexual harassment cases are really, really difficult to navigate. The law around sexual harassment has changed, which puts a lot more onus on businesses to take a proactive role in preventing it.”
Learners can have a range of pre-existing skills and knowledge of running investigation meetings into sexual harassment claims. All learners will have or soon have a manager/supervisor position, which means they may receive a sexual harassment claim in their organisation and be responsible for investigating it.
We come to you. We can deliver in your on site training room or at any suitable venue you choose to book. e.g. school or college
hall or training room. The space for the 3 hour manager’s training should be big enough for 35 participants. Larger groups can be
accommodated on request for a shorter conference style session.
We require 3 tables and 5 chairs for use in the drama plus a chair for each participant. We also need a projector and screen we
can connect our laptop to and access to an electrical point. These are to be provided by client.
The room should be suitable to ensure that the set up can change throughout the day depending on the activity so that we can move
between one large circle of chairs and a theatre style towards the projector/performance space.
Clients will be asked to provide Loudmouth with any special requirements or extra support that delegates may need. This will be agreed prior to the date of delivery and adjustments are made if necessary.
We can provide a standard version that covers an un-named / generic workplace or can work with you on a version that more closely matches
your specific school or college needs.
For an additional cost, we can change references, details, processes shown in the drama to
make the fictional scenario more closely echo your real work environment.
We can also offer versions where we co-deliver with you
so that the drama becomes a case study you can work through with specific details on your own processes and procedures or explore hybrid
sessions where some participants are physically in the training space whilst others observe and participate remotely.
Use the form below to get in touch and we can arrange a meeting to discuss your requirements.
