Screen Time - Book our Latest Programme on Online Safety

There is a lot of talk from schools and parents about children's use of smartphones. Shows like Netflix's Adolescence have created a lot of debate and concerns but what can schools do to support children when they get their first smartphone? Our new programme, Screen Time, gently opens up discussions and shows the many positives of being online whilst being able to make sense of what children see and how they can talk to parents and other trusted adults.

Our new programme, Screen Time, is now available for booking for the summer term and for the next academic year 25/26.

Screen Time is our first completely brand new programme for a few years. It has been commissioned by Ofcom as part of their work to raise media literacy and support children and young people to feel healthy, happy and safe online.

Screen Time looks at the time when children get their first smartphone and gain more independence about what they see online. The drama and workshop looks at communication with children and parents about being online. The programme has versions for students in Year 6 in primary and Year 7 in secondary, as well as sessions for parents plus awareness / training for teachers.

The programme helps children, young people and parents to be able to talk more openly about being online and to be able to better spot dis and misinformation (if you're not sure what these are yourself then here is a quick explainer video)

If you are looking for ways to helping your students to feel safer online whilst equipping them with the skills to make sense of what they find on the internet....then this could be a great addition to your RHE / RSHE programme.

The programme is getting a great response from pupils, teachers and parents and so we have featured some of the great feedback from the students we have worked with and some of the data from the first few sessions.
