Did you know that the Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance has had some key updates?
The latest version, KCSIE 2024 came out in Septmeer 2024. At Loudmouth we want to make sure we are supporting you as much as we can. There are so many pressures on staff's time so we have done a summary of the key changes.
Below is an update on some of the main requirements and some ideas on how we can support you to meet the needs of KCSIE 2024.
1. Promoting Safeguarding Awareness
KCSIE 2024 Requirement: Schools must ensure that children are taught about safeguarding, including how to stay safe online, recognize risks, and seek help.
Loudmouth’s Role: Loudmouth’s interactive workshops and resources focus on safeguarding topics like online safety, bullying, and healthy relationships. These help children and young people to understand risks and how to protect themselves. Our programmes include scenarios that teach children how to identify unsafe situations and report concerns to trusted adults.
2. Supporting Relationships, Sex, and Health Education (RSHE)
KCSIE 2024 Requirement: Schools must deliver RSHE in line with statutory guidance, covering topics like consent, boundaries, and respectful relationships.

3. Mental Health and Well-being
