This year, Knife Crime Awareness Week is between the 19th and 25th May.

If you book a Loudmouth session in May 2025, we will provide you with access to our video resource, Under the Radar. The video comes in versions for Key Stage 2 in primary schools and Key Stages 3 and 4 in secondary schools.

The short video tells the story of a young man who found himself drawn into criminal exploitation and county lines when he was a teenager and how that led to carrying a knife.

The drama is safe and appropriate for schools and focuses more on the impact and consequences on the young man and the effect knife crime had on those around him. It explores how he mistakenly believed that everyone was carrying a knife and he needed to be safe, only to discover he was being manipulated and it placed him in even more danger.

If you book any safeguarding programme with Loudmouth this summer then ask about access to the Under the Radar resource.
