May 04, 2025
Anti Bullying Week takes place this year between the 10th to 14th November.
The theme is yet to be announced but will be organised by the Anti Bullying Alliance and announced here.
November is a busy month for us and Anti Bullying Week gets booked up quickly as well as the weeks either side.
We will continue to offer our two bullying programmes and there are some updates that may help your decision to book your Loudmouth sessions for the Autumn.
OUR PRIMARY PROGRAMME HAS A NEW NAME - MEET THE BULLY BUSTERS
Our primary programme has a new name! Our bullying programmes developed from one programme that was adapted to different age groups into two separate programmes that shared a name! The primary programme centres around two superheroes who train the pupils to join their team as Bully Busters....and so from September the primary programme will be known as The Bully Busters.
This still covers all the same great content and fun drama and discussions to help pupils to spot and stop bullying. The group learn about different forms of bullying, the impact bullying can have and how people can safely challenge or report bullying.
OUR SECONDARY PROGRAMME - UPDATED TO REFLECT LATEST ISSUES LIKE SEXTORTIAN AND MISOGYNY
Keeping material up to date and relatable can be a challenge for schools. We constantly update our research and materials to help this. Our secondary programme, Bully 4 U, covers many different types of bullying and helps students to look at different forms of coercion or abuse that they may not have thought of as bullying. This helps schools to keep their anti bullying work very relevant and accessible for students.
The programme covers issues such as misogyny and harassment as covered in Netflix's Adolescence drama. It covers some the forms of bullying covered there in a way that allows students to unpick what can be seen as banter or humour. The drama also looks at sextortion where young people can be targeted into sending nudes or inappropriate material and then blackmailed into sending money or doing things to avoid the images being shared.
