Loudmouth Education & Training has been running since 1994 and has established a reputation as one of the UK’s premier theatre in education companies. We specialise in safeguarding and relationships work, putting the educational emphasis at the heart of our programmes.
It’s heartening to see that theatre in education is being used increasingly in schools. Loudmouth’s work is of the highest educational quality and is proven to have increased children and young people’s knowledge of the issues covered and to have increased referrals of young people to professionals. With over 23 years of experience in the field we know how to work with commissioners to ensure you get best value for your spend. Whether your remit is to improve sexual health outcomes or build on safeguarding strategies, we can work with you to put in place a long term, sustainable package.
Our holistic prevention and awareness packages can be delivered in primary schools, secondary schools and non-mainstream venues, to help children and young people build their knowledge, skills, attitudes and resilience. With our experienced and dedicated admin team we can take away the headache of booking by managing every aspect of the tour at no extra cost.

"I commission Loudmouth year after year as they work in a unique way to get health information across to children and young people. Their works breaks down barriers and the participants they work with enjoy and actually remember the health messages. The evaluation from staff and young people is always very positive and shows the high regard they have for the educational content of Loudmouth's work. Loudmouth's work is always of a high standard, they always deliver what they say they will deliver, they are totally reliable." Public Health Manager, Dudley MBC
"Umbrella, the new integrated sexual health service for Birmingham and Solihull, commissioned Loudmouth to increase its reach to young people enabling them to educate more 14-19 year-olds through theatre and follow-on workshops. In the first 15 months of Umbrella, Loudmouth have showcased scenarios around healthy relationships, sexually transmitted diseases, consent, control, and coercion to over 20,000 young people, in an engaging and non-judgemental way. The audience relates to the characters during the performance and then has the opportunity to ask the characters questions at the end of the session. At the same time the characters ensure the audience has understood the messages. Clever. A must see!" Fiona Alexander, Umbrella lead for Heath Promotion
“Loudmouth are cost effective as they work with an audience of young people at one time. They are reliable and have a core competence organisation creating and running theatre in education programmes on health issues. Loudmouth created a bespoke piece of work to meet our needs on young people and sexual health and risky behaviours. They have an excellent skills set to work with a range of people including hard to reach young people and their parents and staff. They understand what young people like and need and so can speak the language young people understand. They use drama to present real life drama which young people can interpret into their own situations.” Head of Sexual Health and Teenage Pregnancy Commissioning
