You are here: Home » Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a question that you can't find the answer to elsewhere? You could call us on 0121 446 4880 and we will do our best to answer your query or have a read through the most commonly asked questions below.

Can I view a session?
Of course. We offer free viewings so that people can see the work before they commit to booking us in. We run over 800 sessions a year so there are always plenty of sessions for you to go and see in a variety of educational settings.

Do you work with parents?
Yes, we sure do. Our sessions, particularly our Helping Hands programme, have versions for parents and carers as we recognise the importance they have in children’s education. Ring us for more details.

Do you do performances for the whole year group?
No. We know from years of experience and from research into Theatre in Education that large groups are far less effective. Our focus is on the quality of interaction and learning and so we always work with class size groups.

Can you work with kids to create their own dramas or projects?
Yes, we have run many summer projects with children and young people to help them get their ideas or views across using drama. Some have then been performed at conferences or been made into DVDs or film clips for websites.

Do you get paid?
All of our actor / facilitators are full time, trained, experienced, multi talented and CRB checked. So, yes… we thought we’d better pay them!

I can’t find what I’m looking for here. Do you do work on any other issues?
Hmmm. Maybe. We specialise in work around relationships and focus on the well researched, tried and tested programmes described on the website that schools can book every year. We sometimes take on short projects or new commissions so ring us and we can talk in more detail about what you are looking for.

Can you adapt the programmes to different ages?
Our programmes have been designed to work best with the ages we recommend. However, we are happy to discuss adapting sessions for special or non-mainstream schools.

How do I book you?
Just call us on 0121 446 4880. From discussing availability and costs to helping you choose the most appropriate programme to meet your needs, we will do our best to make your Loudmouth experience simple and hassle-free.

Do you do discounts?
Our work is designed to provide high value for money but if cost is an issue, then please call us and we will do our best to find a solution. Discounts can usually be negotiated during our quieter periods or when a cancellation has occurred.

How do I book a place on one of your training courses?
Our training courses are currently provided as complete packages which are booked exclusively by one school or organisation. Unfortunately, we cannot offer open courses but should this change, we are happy to keep you informed via our newsletter.

Do you offer work experience?
Not at the moment. We don’t offer work experience as we have found it difficult to make work. We deliver sessions across the UK in two seater vans and so it is difficult to have someone with us unless they have their own transport. We can sometimes arrange for young people to view a session or two but at present we can’t offer full weeks of work experience.

See A Session

Excellent, on their level. Much better way of putting information across than a lesson.
